The point of NetNewsWire Lite 1.0.6 is to fix a performance bug that makes descriptions sometimes appear slowly while a refresh is going on.
1.0.6fc3: 15 October 2003
- Made the RSS parser more forgiving of character encoding issues. You may have noted that lately MacMegasite and Mac OS X Hints feeds couldn't be read: now they can.
- Fixed a rare crashing bug in the downloading code.
- (Yes, 1.0.6fc2 was skipped to stay in synch with the full version's version number.)
1.0.6fc1: 14 October 2003
- Fixed, or at least greatly improved, a performance bug where sometimes HTML descriptions would be slow to appear while a refresh is going on.
- Updated the Sites Drawer.
