- Added more feeds to the Sites Drawer. Two new categories, Movies and Music, were created.
1.0.8b1: 12 January 2004
- After clicking a feed-protocol URL in your browser, NetNewsWire prompts for confirmation instead of just subscribing to it. This is because, if you use a Mozilla-family browser (Mozilla, Camino, Firebird), there was a way for a website to subscribe you to a feed you didn’t ask to subscribe to.
- Dragging a feed-protocol link into the Subscriptions pane now works to subscribe to the feed.
