HTML Differences

A new feature in NetNewsWire 1.0.4 shows differences in updated news items.
Deleted text is red and has a line through it. New text is green.
The idea is to make it obvious how an item has changed. It may be an important change, or it may just be a typo fix—this feature makes it so you can see quickly what the changes are.
It’s off by default. You turn it on via the General prefs panel. Check the highlight differences for updated items checkbox.
Lots of NetNewsWire users asked for this feature. Aaron Swartz, in particular, wanted this feature—and he said we could use his script in NetNewsWire. So, if you like this feature, be sure to thank Aaron.
