Weblog Editing

When you want to post something to your weblog, choose News > Post to Weblog to send it to your preferred weblog editor.

The post-to-weblog command works with MarsEdit, ecto, and other weblog editors.

How to get set up

  1. Make sure you have a weblog editor and itŐs set up and working.
  2. In NetNewsWire, choose NetNewsWire > Preferences. Click the Posting icon.
  3. If the popup menu doesnŐt already have your weblog editor selected, choose OtherÉ from the popup menu to choose your weblog editor.

How to post an item

  1. In NetNewsWire, find a news item or web page youŐd like to post to your weblog.
  2. Choose News > Post to Weblog.
  3. Your weblog editor should open a window with that post ready for editing.
Tip: thereŐs a Post to Weblog toolbar command. If itŐs not in your toolbar, and youŐd like to add it, choose View > Customize ToolbarÉ
